The field of sensing and technologies play a vital role in our day-to-day life. They are integral part of Health, Safety, Security and Environment. National conference on Sensing and Technologies (NCST-2024) is intended to provide a forum for research scientists, engineers, and practitioners from academia and industry throughout the nation to present their latest research findings, ideas, and applications in the areas of sensors and sensing technologies. This is a unique three-day networking event, that will inspire technological developments for sensors, in years to come. The NCST-2024 is a platform where sensor technologies take the central stage. The program includes keynote presentations, invited lecturers, oral talks and poster presentations for students. The event will inform and inspire creation of a technological eco-system among the academicians and industry leaders.

Travel Information

The distance between Toshali Sands Puri and Bhubaneswar Airport (BBI) is 64 km. The fastest way to get from Toshali Sands Puri to Bhubaneswar Airport (BBI) is to taxi. Hotel Toshali Sands is just 8 km away from Puri railway station.

The Institute is situated approximately 7 km from Bhubaneswar Railway Station and 9 km from Bhubaneswar Airport. It is located on Sachivalaya Marg, 1 km from Acharya Vihar Square (NH-5), en route to Sainik School. Nearby landmarks include the Doordarshan TV Centre and Apollo Hospital.

General guidelines

All the speakers (invited and oral) are requested to submit their abstract by 14th Nov, 2024 and upload their PowerPoint presentations well before (during session breaks).

Invited talks :

The invited talks will be of 25 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.

Oral talks :

The oral talks will be of 18 minutes, followed by 2 minutes of Q&A.

Poster presentation :

Your poster should have the following dimensions:
Poster size : A1 Size 23.4 inches (59.4 cm) wide x 33.1 inches (84.1 cm) high.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be available in Tosali sands, Puri (for Research scholars / Post doctoral fellows) on double occupancy basis.
All invited speakers will be accommodated in Tosali sands, Puri on single occupancy basis.

Arrival: Please plan to arrive at the hotel before Lunch on 27th November, 2024. Check-in will be available from the morning onwards.

Check-out: The check-out time from the hotel will be at 9.00 AM on 29th November 2024.

Note: Food and other necessary things will be taken care of till the end of the conference.
