- Present Physics interest: Experimental searchforQuark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) and Disoriented Chiral Condensates(DCC) I am involved inthree major experiments currently: WA98 atthe CERN, STARat BrookhavenNational Laboratory and ALICE at CERN.Our Indian collaboration involvesmany National Institutes includingIOP and Universities. We are into (1)building detector hardware whichinvolves lot of high tech mechanical and electronics work, (2) computersimulations and modelingof heavy-ion reactions, and (3) data analysisof the final data taken in the experiments. We work together with leadingtheorists of the field including our theory colleagues from IOP.
