(a) Students and Postdoctoral Fellows: Limited number of students/post doctoral fellows (who are Life Members of EMSI) would be considered for 50% registration fee waiver, travel assistance (3A train fare - shortest route) and accommodation expenses. To become life member of EMSI, please visit www.emsi.org.in.
Request for financial assistance should reach president.emsi@gmail.com before 15 April 2018 (with brief CV, Title and abstract of paper to be presented in EMSI 2018, reference letter from immediate supervisor or from thesis supervisor). (b) Students from Abroad: Financial assistance for limited number of students from abroad would also be available. The assistance would be to accommodation in Guest houses (at the organizers cost), local transport, upto 50% registration fee waiver. (c) We are approaching various government and private agencies for funding students, postdocs and young faculty members. The above financial assistance is subjective to availability of funds. The financial assistance would be given to the "Presenting Author" only. The applicant needs to submit a letter (certified by the guide or immediate supervisor) confirming the non-availability of fund from the parent Institute.
