WEL COME
About Me
My hometown is a quaint village named Dulupur, situated in the Cuttack
district on the north-eastern side of Odisha. Nestled along the banks of
the sacred river Chitroptala, the village enjoys a serene and picturesque setting.
Despite its simplicity, Dulupur is well-connected to the district headquarters and nearby areas.
At the heart of the village stands a small but revered temple dedicated to
Goddess Ramachandi, a place of devotion well-known among the locals.
Dulupur also houses a modest Upper Primary School, Dulupur U.P. School,
where I completed my early education.
The charm of my village is profoundly enhanced by the Chitroptala river,
whose long sandy riverbed forms an integral part of the villagers daily lives.
For me, it holds a special place in my heart, as I spent countless joyful
moments of my childhood along its banks.
After completing my primary education in my village,
I continued my studies at Manicharan Sarala Academy, a reputed institution located in Tirtol,
about 25 kilometers from my hometown. My school years were memorable, as I not only received
quality education but also built lasting friendships.
I later graduated from Salipur College, Cuttack, and went on to pursue
my postgraduate degree at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. With a growing passion for research,
I joined the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar, where I embarked on my academic journey
in advanced studies. Eventually, I earned my Ph.D. from Jadavpur University,
marking a significant milestone in my scholarly career.
