CONDENSED MATTER DAYS-05(CMDAYS05)

It is an annual symposium on Condensed Matter Physics. It would cover theoretical and experimental aspects in the following areas:

Biological Physics Complex systems, Dielectrics and Ferroelectrics
Electronic structure Low-dimensional Physics Magnetism
Nonlinear and nonequilibrium systems Semiconductors, Superconductivity, strongly correlated systems

Condensed matter physics here is taken in a very broad sense. It also includes materials science, complex systems as well as the physics at the interfaces between various branches of science. The symposium encourages participation from various colleges, universities as well as scientific institutions.  In addition to a few invited and oral presentations, emphasis would be given to poster presentations. The later type of presentation, as observed from previous experience, has evoked tremendous response in view of its direct and informal type of interaction. Furthermore, 2005 being the World Year of Physics, there might be couple of talks of general interest.
